We’re excited to officially share that Hideaway Inns is coming to Sugar Hill, New Hampshire with our newest property: Hideaway Inn Franconia Notch.
Located at the historic Sunset Hill House property in the heart of New Hampshire’s White Mountains, Hideaway Inn Franconia Notch will bring the Hideaway experience to one of the most beautiful and adventure-filled regions in New England.
A New Chapter for a Historic Property
We fell in love with Sugar Hill almost immediately.
Between the mountain views, quiet roads, small-town charm, and easy access to some of the best outdoor experiences in New Hampshire, it felt like the perfect fit for Hideaway Inns.
Guests staying at Hideaway Inn Franconia Notch will be minutes from:
- Franconia Notch State Park
- Cannon Mountain
- The Basin
- Echo Lake
- Artist’s Bluff
- Polly’s Pancake Parlor
- Downtown Littleton
- Hiking, skiing, biking, fly fishing, and more
Whether you’re visiting during peak foliage season, ski season, summer hiking months, or just looking for a quiet New England escape, the area has something special year-round.
What We’re Working On
Right now, our team is actively renovating guest rooms, redesigning common spaces, refreshing exterior areas, building local partnerships, and creating our Hideaway Inns “Innsider Guide” for the Franconia region.
We’re also working with local businesses, restaurants, artists, guides, and outdoor outfitters to help connect guests with the best experiences around Sugar Hill and Franconia Notch.
As always, we want the property to feel deeply connected to the local community and the surrounding landscape.
Opening Soon
Hideaway Inn Franconia Notch is expected to open in Summer 2026, and we can’t wait to welcome guests.
We’ll be sharing renovation updates, sneak peeks, local recommendations, and opening details over the coming months on Instagram and through our email list.
